Support STEM Education: We are seeking industry guest speakers for one-hour career talks – in person or by video teleconference (which students love!) – on Friday, May 3 and Friday, May 10 at Lincoln High School in San Francisco. Students will spend the week learning the principles of biotechnology and doing hands-on lab activities brought to them by The Bay Area Bioscience Education Community (BABEC), culminating with a guest speaker who will bring their learning “to life” by sharing his or her educational path and career journey. Women, African American and Latino individuals especially needed. All types of life science careers are welcome. Our goal is to inspire students and show the many pathways available in this vibrant industry. Be a part of a special week dedicated to high school students exploring the world of biotechnology.
