We are very excited to announce our special Women Breaking the Barriers of Science –
a BVS Cambridge Biotech Community Event at the Boston Marriott Cambridge on November 14th

At this event, women and men will discuss the issues surrounding women in science and the great success
stories of those that have succeeded at the highest level.
The event will be a combination of a keynote speech, panel discussions, vendor exhibits,
networking, great food & cocktails.

science and what were their barriers along the way?

6:45 – 7:45 PM – “What Are The Implications of the Me Too Movement in Life Sciences” – How do men and women
navigate through this new era? Experts will be giving their expert opinions on sexual harassment and discrimination.
What to do if it happened to you? What if you are a witness to it….what are your responsibilities? How do we ensure
more gender equality in the workplace that ensures both genders are empowered to take the right actions, and other
discussions on this important area.
