Guardians of the Genome – join the cause

This June, over 2,500 of the genomics community will answer the call, joining us in Boston as we combine forces to explore how we can realize the true potential of genomic medicine. State-of-the-art work from leading organizations – (Harvard, Broad, Dana Farber Cancer Institute) is intertwined with presentations from drug developers (Novartis, Genentech, Pfizer and Amgen) and top healthcare facilities (Boston Children’s Hospital, Mayo Clinic and Brigham and Women’s Hospital) to provide a complete view of the genomics landscape.

Our 10 pre-day workshops will allow you to explore more complex subjects, whilst sessions on our TechForum stages give snapshots of the developments going into new techniques and technologies. As always, a number of new and exciting ‘attractions‘ continue to define the festival as unique.

The festival is a vibrant mix of inspiring talks, crucial discussions and innovative experiences to help you push your work forward and have fun networking.

Only through creative problem-solving can the mysteries hidden in the human genome and beyond be harnessed. Take on tricky tasks in the Workflow Challenge, explore an entire workflow in a few steps at our genomics Live Lab and experience something out of this world in our ‘Genomics in Space’ session with NASA. Like all good festivals, you will leave feeling connected with the community and enriched by the new perspectives and inspiring people you encounter. Gene genies, it’s time to get inspired.
