We are honored to have the WIB President, Simone Fishburn, Ph.D., as well as WIB Board of Directors member, Annalisa Jenkins, MBBS, MRCP, speak to us on December 10, 2014.

Simone is currently the Executive Editor of SciBx, and her prior experience includes the development of drugs for biotech companies as well as independent research in academia.

Annalisa is the CEO at Dimension Therapeutics, based in Cambridge. She began her career as a Medical Officer with the British Royal Navy, and moved on to work at big pharma including Merck Serono and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Simone and Annalisa have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with us, and can provide valuable insights on how to reach success as a woman in the biotech/science field.

For our 2014 year-end celebration we are once again welcomed by Fish and Richardson, a law firm office in the up-and-coming Seaport District with panoramic views of the city and harbor.
