Speaker Biography
About Wendy Johnson: Ms. Wendy Johnson has an impressively broad range of experience in the regulatory and pharmaceutical industry. At the present, Wendy is a co-founder of Gemini Advisors, a business development, drug development and strategic advisory consultancy. Wendy has been a serial entrepreneur for many years, most recently as a venture partner at ProQuest Investments (a life science venture capital firm managing $1B assets) and CEO of two ProQuest portfolio companies. Wendy is well known in the industry for her skill in identifying and developing under-appreciated assets. She was Senior VP Corporate Development at Salmedix, Inc., where she identified the asset that led to the sale of the company to Cephalon (and now Teva). Wendy held a number of senior corporate development positions at leading pharmaceutical companies including WomenFirst Healthcare and Prizm Pharmaceuticals. Prior to entering industry, Wendy served as Assistant Director with the Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
