NIH Biotechnology Training Grant Symposium

One of the features of our NIH Predoctoral Biotechnology Training Grant is an annual symposium that brings together the broader biotechnology community, including students, faculty, and industry affiliates to highlight Stanford research and advances in the field. Last year, our symposium focused on revitalizing biomedical commercialization. Faced with shrinking life science investments and failing venture capital firms, we invited experts from around the U.S. and Canada to tell about their innovative approaches to bioproduct development. We now build on that theme by offering several intriguing examples that illustrate how biotechnology is being redefined with an expanding range of technologies, product types, and applications areas.
