The Early-Stage Life Sciences Technology Conference XI will showcase about 20 life sciences technologies developed at the universities, research institutions, and hospitals of New England and recently formed New England companies to an audience of angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors.
Companies that have presented at our first nine Early Stage Life Sciences Conferences have raised over $250 million in new investments.

Pitch Presenting and Exhibiting
The Early-Stage Life Sciences Technology Conference is an annual showcase for platform technologies developed at the research institutions, hospitals and universities and for recently formed companies. Presenters will include founders of new companies and faculty of institutions with technologies that could be the basis of a start-up or license. The Forum is an opportunity for these companies and faculty to present to an audience of angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors.
There are no additional fees for presenting and exhibiting but Presenters and Exhibitors must register for the conference with a discounted price of $100.
Pitch Presenting
Presenters will be able to give 10-minute presentations on their business opportunity to an audience of angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors. In addition presenters will be given a poster board to exhibit during the conference.
In order to present, you must complete LS 2015 Presenter Application and submit it to the Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center to jgoldberg@umassp.edu; byFebruary 27, 2015.
To be eligible to present at the program you must meet the following criteria:
You must have recently formed a company which has the following characteristics:
1. The company must be developing biotechnology products, related services or commercially applicable technologies;
2. The company must not have yet received professional venture capital – the company may have received grant funding or angel investments;
3. The company must be actively looking for either capital investment or a corporate partnership or both.
Or
You must be a PI or Technology Transfer Officer at a research organization and have a technology that could be the foundation for a new start-up company.
Exhibiting
Exhibitors will be given a poster board to exhibit during the conference.
In order to exhibit, you must complete LS 2015 Exhibitor Application and submit it to the Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center to jgoldberg@umassp.edu by February 27, 2015.
To be eligible to exhibit at the program you must meet the following criteria:
