WIB-Greater Boston is excited to offer our next YWIB event at Sarepta Therapeutics in Andover, MA. Girls in grades 6 through 8 are invited to learn about biotechnology and related careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)!

Our full agenda includes an interactive chat with our head of Regulatory Affairs, an introduction to some of our scientists, a tour of our research lab, and an experiment/science exercise. We will end with pizza and casual conversation! Each student will also receive a copy of the book Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World, by Rachel Ignotofsky.

Sarepta is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of precision genetic medicines to treat rare neuromuscular diseases.
